Join as a Prospective Member
Joining MWBIU means you have the power of a union behind you when fighting for what you deserve. We fight for fairness together, ensuring you are treated with respect and dignity.
When there is a temporary need for additional workers beyond our regular membership, the Marine Workers & Boilermakers Industrial Union may dispatch workers as prospective members. During this period, prospective members are required to pay monthly dues and assessments equivalent to those of regular members.
After a minimum of three months of employment (and successful completion of the probationary period), prospective members may become full members by paying the initiation fee.
